    Enhancements to Offer Loading Process

We are introducing a significant enhancement to our system to improve the clarity and precision of pricing details when loading offers.

Addition of Monthly Identifier in Pricing Details:
Previously, offers provided by Microsoft with identical ValidFrom dates made it challenging to determine the corresponding months for pricing details. To address this problem and streamline the pricing process, we have added a new column called "MonthlyIdentifier" in the pricing details table.

Enhanced Price Updates for Plan Products:
Previously, while loading offers, if a plan product lacked a macro, we refrained from updating both the sale price and provider price, limiting pricing flexibility.

To address this limitation, we've enhanced the pricing update process. Now, while loading offers, the system behaves differently based on the presence of macros:

    • Macro-Based Pricing: If a plan product has an associated macro, both the sale price and provider price will be updated during offer loading.
    • No Macro Scenario: If no macro is associated with a plan product, only the provider price will be updated. This streamlines pricing updates for scenarios where macros are not applied.

    Default Terms and Conditions Functionality

This feature empowers partners to enhance the customer experience by introducing mandatory "Terms and Conditions" acceptance on the cart page during offer purchases.

    Key Features:

    • Partner-Driven Configuration:
Partners now have the capability to configure their settings within C3 to enforce "Terms and Conditions" acceptance during the offer purchase process. Once activated, customers will be prompted to acknowledge and accept the "Terms and Conditions" directly on the cart page.

    • Customized Content and External URL:
Partners can tailor the content of the "Terms and Conditions" to align with their specific business requirements. Additionally, partners have the option to include a redirect URL, directing users to their terms and conditions hosted on an external website.

    • Important Note:
It is important to highlight that this feature operates independently of the existing "NCE Terms & Conditions" functionality. This enhancement is designed explicitly for subscriptions other than NCE, offering partners greater control and flexibility over their terms and conditions.

Expanded CSP Customer Creation Permissions for Resellers in C3

We are introducing a significant enhancement to C3's reseller capabilities, specifically focused on CSP customer creation. With the latest update, we are extending this functionality to include Resellers without MPN-IDs through the introduction of a new reseller configuration.

    Feature Highlights:

    • New Reseller Configuration:
We have introduced a novel reseller configuration titled Create Provider Customer under Logical Reseller. By default, this configuration is set to False.

    • Enhanced Permissions:
Enabling this configuration empowers logical resellers to create new tenants under the Partner's account, expanding their capabilities within the system.

    • Informative Notification:
As a part of this enhancement, a notification will be prominently displayed above the customer creation form when the configuration is enabled. It informs users that "The customer will be created in the partner centre under the partner account."

    Benefits:

This update offers a more inclusive approach to CSP customer creation, ensuring that Resellers without MPN-IDs can now participate in the process, while providing clear visibility through the notification.

Enhancing User Communication with Custom Notifications in C3

In the latest release of C3, we have addressed a problem related to user communication. Previously, there was a lack of functionality within C3 to effectively communicate specific instructions to customers. Recognizing the need for improved user communication, we are excited to introduce the "Custom Notifications" feature. These custom notifications are designed to keep users informed about significant events, including product purchases, license adjustments, and the integration of Partner Center tenants with C3 customers.

    Key Enhancements:

    • Custom Notifications Page:
As part of this release, we have introduced a dedicated "Custom Notifications" page within the Administration menu. This page serves as the central hub for managing and configuring custom notifications. Users can easily access this page to create, edit, or remove notifications.
    • Notification Configuration:
With the introduction of custom notifications, partners now have the ability to provide essential details when creating or editing a notification. These details include the notification title, template, description, and effective dates. Moreover, users can specify tagged entities, encompassing events, entities, and applicable elements, ensuring that notifications are contextually relevant and informative.
    • Notification Grid:
To streamline the management of notifications, we have implemented a comprehensive notification grid on the "Custom Notifications" page. This grid displays notifications in an organized manner, presenting key information such as notification titles, descriptions, effective dates, tagged entities, and options for editing or deletion. Users can efficiently monitor and control notifications from this centralized location.
    • Targeted Notifications:
Based on partner's selections, these notifications will be displayed to customers during product management, license management, and tenant linking processes. This targeted approach ensures that customers receive relevant notifications at the right time, enhancing their overall experience within C3.

Enhanced Coupon Filtering and Coupon Assignment Page Revamp

Introducing a significant improvements in this release, focusing on enhanced coupon filtering and a revamped Coupon Assignments page. These changes aim to streamline your coupon management experience in C3.

    Key Enhancements:

    • Multi-Selection Filters for Coupons:
We have added the convenience of multi-selection filters on the Coupons page. Now, you can easily filter coupons based on their status – Active, Inactive, or Expired. This feature simplifies the process of locating and managing coupons, ensuring a more efficient workflow.

    • Coupon Assignment Page Status Update:
To provide clarity and consistency, we have made an important update to the Coupon Assignment Page. We have replaced the display of coupon status with coupon assignment status. This adjustment aligns the terminology with the actual content, minimizing any potential confusion during coupon assignment management.

With these enhancements, managing coupons and their assignments within C3 becomes more intuitive and efficient, ultimately enhancing your user experience.

Enhanced Invoice Presentation with Unpaid Dues Summary

We are excited to introduce an enhancement that improves the presentation of invoice details within C3. This enhancement specifically addresses the absence of information regarding old unpaid dues in both the invoice view and PDF format. With this release, we are making this crucial information accessible to our users.

    Key Features:

    • Invoice Dues Section:
We are introducing a new section titled Invoice Dues within the invoice view and PDF. This section will include a table summarizing the details of invoices with unpaid or partially paid dues.

    • Dues Summary:
The table will provide a concise summary of all invoices with outstanding dues. It will calculate the cumulative amount of dues from previous invoices and combine them with the current invoice's dues. This summarized information offers a clear view of the total outstanding dues.

    • Multi-Currency Support:
The dues section will provide a breakdown of dues for each currency, ensuring comprehensive visibility for multi-currency transactions.

    • Placement:
The dues section will be positioned at the bottom of the current invoice in both the view and PDF formats for easy reference.

    • Invoice Dues Scope:
The displayed invoice dues will be limited to invoices up to the month of the currently viewed or downloaded invoice. For instance, if there are invoices for June and July, and a user attempts to view or download the June invoice in the month of July, only the dues up to June will be displayed, excluding the July dues.

    • Configuration Setting:
We are introducing a new C3CustomerConfiguration key named Show Unpaid Dues in Invoice. This configuration key will be of type 'checkbox,' allowing partners to enable or disable the display of unpaid dues details. By default, this key will be set to 'false,' ensuring flexibility and user control over this feature.

Introducing the "Transaction Amount Limit Report" for Enhanced Customer Insight

Introducing a valuable addition to C3 that enhances transparency and visibility of customer transaction amount limits. Until now, accessing this information required navigating through Customer configurations or impersonating/login as individual customers. With this enhancement, we are simplifying the process by adding a dedicated "Transaction Amount Limit Report" option within the "Reports" dropdown in the Customers section.

    Key Enhancement:
In the Customers section, a new option called "Transaction Amount Limit Report" has been added to the existing Reports dropdown menu. Selecting this option will generate a CSV report containing the following essential fields for all customers:

    • Customer Name
    • Tenant ID
    • Transaction Amount Limit
    • Utilized Value

    Benefits:
The introduction of the "Transaction Amount Limit Report" streamlines access to critical financial information for all customers. Users can now easily view and analyze transaction amount limits and utilization values in a structured CSV format, eliminating the need for manual data extraction.

    ConnectWise Integration Feature Upgrades

Introduction of "Quantity Update" Addition Type

In this release, we are pleased to introduce a significant addition to our addition types in response to partner feedback. We are introducing a new addition type named "Quantity_Update" to further enhance flexibility and utility in ConnectWise Manage.

    Key Features:

    • "Quantity Update" Addition Type:
The new "Quantity_Update" addition type allows partners to conveniently push the highest available quantity from the subscription history. This feature streamlines the addition creation process for improved efficiency.

    • Entity-Level Quantity Selection:
When a subscription is shared among sites and departments, the system will intelligently select the highest quantity based on the entity level, ensuring accurate and efficient quantity updates.

    • Unchanged Product Mapping:
Our existing product mapping and bulk mapping processes remain unchanged, ensuring a seamless transition to the "Quantity_Update" addition type.

    • Mandatory Start and End Dates:
The addition type requires mandatory input for start and end dates, providing essential information for addition creation.

    • Handling Subscription Changes:
In cases where a subscription expires, is deleted, or is suspended (excluding NCE), the end date will be displayed in ConnectWise Manage. This ensures that the system accurately reflects subscription status changes.

Enhanced Invoice Line-Item Push to ConnectWise

We are delighted to introduce a series of enhancements to our Invoice Line-Item Push to ConnectWise feature, making it even more versatile and user-friendly. These changes are designed to improve the process and allow for more seamless data transfer.

    Key Enhancements:

    • Dynamic Invoice Generation:
In the context of Invoice line items, data can now be pushed to ConnectWise once the invoice is generated. Additionally, customer listings on the Manage ConnectWise screen will only include those for whom invoices have been generated in a specific billing period. This ensures that only relevant data is listed for pushing.

    • Full Amount and Refund Transfer:
This enhancement simplifies data transfer by ensuring that the full amount and any applicable refunds available in the invoice are automatically pushed to ConnectWise. No proration logic is applied.

    • Billing Cycle and Custom Dates:
We've introduced a billing cycle dropdown and custom dates filter for added flexibility. While custom dates are not mandatory, selecting start and end dates will be applicable in ConnectWise addition creation. If custom dates are not selected, the system will consider billing period start and end dates.

    • Unchanged Mapping and Validation:
Mapping and validation processes remain unchanged, ensuring a smooth transition to the enhanced feature.

    • Invoice Status Requirements:
Invoices can only be pushed to ConnectWise when they have reached a finalized, paid, or partially paid status.

    • Regenerated Invoices:
For regenerated invoices, support team assistance is required due to certain limitations.

    • Support for Ondemand and Onetime Subscriptions:
Notably, Ondemand and onetime subscriptions, such as RI subscriptions, software, and Azure reservations, are excluded from the push option as they are not available for mapping.

Displaying Auto-Renewal Date in Local Time Zone

Previously, the auto-renewal date on the Product Details screen was shown in the UTC time zone. With this enhancement, it will now be displayed in the local time zone.

    Enhanced License Summary Report

To improve the utility of our License Summary Report, we have incorporated partner offers and expanded coverage to include all subscriptions, including bundles and partner offers. This enhancement ensures that you can now access comprehensive data in the report, providing a more complete view of your licensing information.

Enhanced Customization for Invoice Line-Items Reports

With this release, we have implemented an intuitive feature that allows users to choose the columns they want to include in their invoice line-items report. This customization feature provides greater control and flexibility, enabling users to generate reports that align precisely with their requirements.

Enhanced Product List View with Owned By and Domain Information

With this release, we have extended the visibility of crucial information. The "Owned By" and "Domain" details will now be prominently displayed in the list view for products. This enhancement ensures that users have access to all relevant product information regardless of the viewing mode.

Tax Display on Order Screen (Configurable):

    Introduction:

We are introducing a valuable improvement aimed at enhancing transparency in tax calculations within C3. Up until now, tax details were exclusively displayed in invoice-related changes, leaving customers unaware of the applicable taxes during product purchases. This led to uncertainty, as customers could only determine the exact tax amounts after invoice generation.

    Key Enhancement:

    • Tax Display on Order Screen (Configurable):
With this release, we have addressed this limitation by prominently displaying the total tax amount directly on the cart summary screen. However, it's important to note that this feature is configurable. It will only be applicable if enabled by administrators or partners. Customers can now effortlessly and accurately assess the applied taxes before finalizing their product purchases. This enhancement offers greater clarity and transparency throughout the order process, improving the overall user experience.

    Enhanced Azure Subscription Management

Automated Subscription Suspension at Danger Threshold:
We have implemented a crucial feature that allows partners to configure automatic suspension of Azure subscriptions when Azure Plan or Entitlments reach the danger threshold. Partners can now proactively safeguard their clients' subscriptions, preventing potential disruptions and ensuring business continuity.

A new configuration option, "Suspend When Danger Threshold Met," has been added. When enabled, this feature becomes active, allowing partners to implement automated subscription suspension.
