General settings consists multiple Partner & Customer configurations
Partner Defaults
- Link to Welcome Logo: Link associated with welcome logo on welcome page/landing page(generally your website link)
- Link to Contact Us Page: Link to your Contact Us website page
- Link to Support: Link to your online support page where customers will be redirected to get any assistance from you
- Link to Portal : Your C3 website URL(without / at the end) that is emebedded with value configured for Login to Portal attribute
- Language Packs: Partner language preferences
- Powered by Company Name: Name that should appear on the bottom right corner of landing page as well as footer after a user is logged in
- Powered by Company URL: Link associated with name defined as "Powered By Company Name"

- Suspend subscription when danger threshold met: This checkbox control if meeting the Danger threshold( ifdefined) value for Usage Based subscription(Azure Plan/Legacy Azure) should trigger cancellation or not.
- Business number key: Atribute that appears on the invoice view and invoice pdf in bill from section e.g. VAT ID
- Business number: Value for Business Number key defined above
- Customer consent URL: Link associated with MCA that customers provides consent for(generally the Microsoft Cusotmer Agreement consent link)
- Invoice footer line: Appears on the invoice view and invoice pdf as footer line
- Invoice footer authorized line: Appears on the invoice view and invoice pdf as footer authorized line
- Customized landing page URL: Target URL for the page, if you want to have a customized landing page. Note: In the landing page, you should have a button and the target URL of that button should be

- Default page count: Sets the default page count for every table in the system.
- Xero app account code for MSLicense:Specifies which Xero chart-of-accounts code should be used when posting Microsoft License transactions/invoices into Xero.
- Xero app account code for Azure:Specifies the Xero account code used when syncing Azure consumption/billing transactions into Xero.
- Xero app account code for Custom:Specifies the Xero account code used for custom (non-standard) product or service line items when posted to Xero.
- Automatically assign a new phone number as the default:Any newly added phone number for a customer is automatically set as their default contact number.
- Automatically assign a new email as the default:Any newly added email address is automatically set as the customer's default/primary email.
- Automatically assign a new address as the default:Any newly added address is automatically set as the customer's default/primary address.
- Xero app BrandingTheme name:Defines which Xero invoice branding theme (logo, layout, color scheme) is applied when invoices are generated/synced to Xero.
- Xero decimal points:Sets the number of decimal places used for amounts when transactions are posted to Xero
- Xero account code for OneTime:Specifies the Xero account code applied to one-time charge transactions.
- Xero account code for adjustments: Specifies the Xero account code applied to manual billing adjustments or corrections.
- Days To Send Cart Status Notification:Number of days after which a reminder/notification is sent to the customer about an incomplete or pending cart/order.
- Maximum Entitlement Creation Count:Sets an upper limit on the number of entitlements (licenses/subscriptions) that can be created per customer or per order.
- Maximum Tenants Creation Count:Sets an upper limit on the number of tenants that can be created under a single customer account.
- Public catalogue backed by azure search:Enables Azure Cognitive Search as the search engine powering the public product catalogue for faster, more accurate search results.
- Mandate Payment Profile Cart Checkout:Requires customers to have a valid payment profile set up before they can complete checkout.
- Is Required Auto Release For Site and Department Products:Determines whether products assigned at the site/department level are automatically released (activated) without manual approval.
- Terms & conditions URL:Link to the general terms and conditions document customers must review/accept.
- Terms & conditions URL (text):The display label/text shown for the terms & conditions link (instead of the raw URL).
- Number of days to store Bulk Invoice file in cloud storage:Retention period (in days) for which generated bulk invoice files remain stored in cloud storage before deletion/archival.
- Restricting customer while onboarding under multiple entities:Prevents or controls a customer from being onboarded simultaneously under more than one business entity/tenant.
- Xero account code for Reserved Instances:Specifies the Xero account code used when posting Reserved Instance (RI) billing transactions.
- Consider generation date in turnover report:When enabled, the turnover report calculates figures based on the invoice/transaction generation date rather than another date field (like billing period date).
- Purchase the quote line items automatically:Automatically converts approved quote line items into a purchase/order without requiring a separate manual purchase step.
- Show footer:Toggles whether a footer section (e.g., disclaimers, company info) is displayed on documents like invoices or quotes.
- Enable terms & conditions for subscription manage:Requires customers to accept terms & conditions when managing (upgrading, downgrading, cancelling) their subscriptions.
- Default quote sender:Sets the default sender name/email used when quotes are sent to customers.
- Default quote purchase terms:Predefined standard purchase terms automatically included in quotes unless overridden.
- Azure reporting column standardization:Standardizes/normalizes column names and formats in Azure usage/billing reports for consistency across reports.
- Azure reporting column standardization for API endpoint:Applies the same column standardization specifically to data returned via the API endpoint (for consistent integration with external systems).
- **Enable instant pay:**Allows customers to make immediate payments (e.g., via card or online payment method) at the time of purchase or invoice generation, instead of standard billing cycles.
- Show portal users menu for customer entities:Controls whether the "portal users" management menu is visible for customer entities, allowing admins/customers to manage portal user access.
Customer Defaults
- Allow customer to reduce seats: This flag controls the ability of end customer to reduce license count from C3 portal
- Billing reference ID: This is for internal reference, basically unique identifier for a customer to relate them in your external accounting tool
- PO#: Global Purchase order number for all customers
- Accepted partner terms and conditions?: Unchecking this flag will initiate the consent process for all customers upon their next login. Generally used if there is change in T&Cs and you want your customer to do the consent on latest T&Cs.
- Show terms & conditions acceptance log: This flag controls the appearance of consent logs on customer dashboard with details as Consent provider name, consent link, date & time.
- Should notify customer: It controls overall outgoing email flow out of C3, If unchecked, no email communication will happen from C3 even if email notifications are configured.
- Customer product auto price update: This flag controls the ability of C3 tool to update Sale prices in plans in case of any change from Microsoft
- Customer product auto price update effectiveness: Here you control the effectiveness of new Sale price, available options are
- Terms and condition URL : Link to your generic T&Cs for customers for using CSP Control Center or other conditions.
- Auto Sync:When enabled, automatically synchronizes data (such as customer records, orders, invoices, or product/pricing info) between this platform and a connected external system
- Stop all transactions: Setting this value to true will stop the user's ability to make any purchases.
- Mandate profile : Mandate user to submit payment method(should be checked only if you want to force customer to provide CC/ACH details in C3 to make them use C3)
- Transaction amount limit: Enforce a limit on the monetary value of the quantity based product purchase ( In customer currency )
- Seat limit applicable: Enforce a limit on the number of seats that the customer can purchase
- Invoice notes:Custom text or remarks added to an invoice (e.g., payment instructions, special comments, order-specific notes) that appear alongside the invoice details for the customer's reference.
- Allow auto release un-used seats : Enable the auto release for unassigned seats(works only for legacy, not for NCE)
- Allow access to CSP Global Administrators : Checking this box will let customer's Global admin user access C3 as Customer Admin role without having partner to assign them C3 access
- Enable power BI reports : Enable power BI reports
- Allow product name sync for usage based offers : Sync Friendly name from PC to C3 for license based products
- ERP Customer ID:The unique customer identifier used in the connected ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle), used to map/sync this customer's records between the portal and the ERP.
- MANDT:SAP-specific field name for "Client" (mandant/tenant number) — identifies which SAP client/tenant this customer's data belongs to, since SAP systems can host multiple clients on one instance.
- Customer Unique Identifier:A system-generated or assigned unique ID for the customer within this platform, used internally to distinguish and reference the customer record across modules.
- Auto Release Cool Off Period:The waiting/grace period (in days or hours) after an order or cancellation request before it's automatically released/finalized for processing — giving time for review, changes, or cancellation before the action takes effect.
- Default Monthly Budget: Default monthly budget for the azure subscription.
- Default Info Threshold (%) : Default Info threshold in percentage for the azure subscription.
- Default Warning Threshold (%) : Default warning threshold in percentage for the azure subscription.
- Default Danger Threshold (%) : Default Danger threshold in percentage for the azure subscription.
- Default Error Threshold (%) : Default Error threshold in percentage for the azure subscription.
- Default Threshold Email Recipient: Default threshold email recipient for the azure subscription.
- Should Enable Default For Customer: Checking this box will enabled Default monthly budgets related value for all onboarded customers
- Exempt Instant Pay Payment : Should Exempt Customer From Instant Pay Payment.
- Allow Customer to initiate transaction:When enabled, customers are permitted to start transactions themselves (e.g., placing an order, upgrading/downgrading a subscription, or making a payment) directly from their self-service portal, rather than requiring an admin, partner, or sales rep to initiate it on their behalf.
- Enable NCE terms & conditions to order Microsoft NCE products: Checking this box will enforce customer to provide consent to your NCE purchase related T&C's before placing the order
- Post billing email to external accounting services:When enabled, this automatically sends/forwards billing emails (invoices, statements, etc.)
- Allow product name sync for quantity based offers : Sync Friendly name from PC to C3 for Usage based products
- Allow customer to align subscription end dates : Checking this box will allow customer to align subscription end dates for NCE subscriptions in C3
- Show customer configuration setting in customer portal:Controls whether customers can view/access this configuration section themselves in their self-service portal.
- Choose invoice PDF language:Sets the language in which the generated invoice PDF will be printed (e.g., English, French, German).
- VAT number:Stores the customer's VAT/tax registration number, printed on invoices for tax compliance.
- Invoice footer line:Custom text (e.g., bank details, legal disclaimer, thank-you note) shown at the bottom of every invoice.
- Enable default terms & conditions to order products:When turned on, standard T&Cs are automatically attached/applied whenever the customer places an order.
- Show unpaid dues in invoice:Displays any outstanding/overdue balance on the current invoice, not just the new charges.
- Automatically assign a new address as the default:Any newly added address automatically becomes the customer's primary/default address.
- Automatically assign a new phone number as the default:ame as above, but for phone numbers.
- Automatically assign a new email as the default:Same as above, but for email addresses.
- Coterminosity type:Defines how subscription end dates are aligned (e.g., all subscriptions end on the same date — anniversary, calendar month-end, or custom date) for simplified billing.
- Customer products default view:Sets how products are displayed by default in the customer's portal (e.g., list view vs. grid view).
- Enable schedule order:Allows customers/admins to place an order that becomes effective on a future date rather than immediately.
- Renewal consent initiation period:Number of days before subscription expiry when the system starts requesting the customer's consent to renew.
- Renewal consent reminder notification days:Interval (in days) at which reminder notifications are sent to the customer until consent is given.
- Show invoices to customer:Toggles whether customers can see/download their invoices in the portal.
- Exempt customer for PSA export:Excludes this customer's data from being exported/synced to the PSA (Professional Services Automation) tool.
- Consider ERP price on renewal for no macro:On renewal, use the price from the ERP system instead of a calculated/macro-based price when no pricing macro/rule is defined.
- NCE terms & conditions URL:Link to the Microsoft New Commerce Experience (NCE) terms and conditions document customers must accept.
- NCE Terms & conditions URL (text):The display/label text shown for the above NCE T&C link (instead of showing the raw URL).
- Allow customer to change product quantity from list:customers directly edit/adjust the quantity of a subscribed product from the product listing view, without going through a separate order flow.
