    Category-wise Invoicing

CSP Control Center can now generate separate invoices per customer for different Microsoft product categories.

Follow the steps below to enable invoicing by category.

    • Open Customer Configuration of a Customer
    • Select One-time invoice owner (type) as the Site
    • Now enter the site name in the corresponding identifier field

Once these configurations are defined for a customer, the system will generate separate invoices for different product categories.

These configurations apply only to Azure Subscriptions, Software Subscriptions, Perpetual Software, and Third-Party Subscriptions. Category-wise invoicing is already available for quantity-based subscriptions & Azure plans and can be managed through the site/department sharing feature.

    Approval In Subscription Upgrade

The approval mechanism was already available for subscription purchases/quantity changes, and now this functionality is also available for the subscription upgrade process. If the target subscription requires partner approval due to seat/transaction restrictions, the user will receive a prompt message. Once the user confirms the upgrade, the approval process will proceed like the purchase/quantity update process.

    Dashboard Changes

    Revenue vs Cost by Category

We have added a new portlet Revenue vs Cost by Category to the dashboard. It will show partner revenue vs cost analysis for different product categories and partner users can filter the data by category, customer, or billing cycle.

    Enhancement in Dashboard Portlet

All portlets will now have a filter with time period and partners/resellers can view reports for the selected time period in the portlet.
Each portlet will have an option to Download as PNG or CSV.
    ### Purchase of Seats
Earlier, this portlet used to show data of partner’s customers only but now this graph will consider their reseller’s data as well.

License Summary report changes for Distributors

This report will now be available for resellers and will consider resellers' customer data too. Partners can view license summary for their direct customers as well as their reseller customers and filter the report by customer/reseller name.

    Invoice Summary Report

MS Cost, MS Tenant ID, State, and Tax Percentage will now also be displayed in the Invoice Summary Report.
