## EST Phase 2 Enhancements

### Overview
As part of Microsoft’s Extended Service Terms (EST) changes, C3 has introduced Phase 2 enhancements to support EST subscription management, visibility, reconciliation, and renewal handling across the platform.

This update expands the EST functionality introduced in Phase 1 and prepares the platform for Microsoft’s new end-of-term subscription behavior effective April 2026.
### What’s New
#### EST Renewal Policy Support
C3 now supports the following renewal options for eligible subscriptions:

* **Renews to new term**
* **Renew to Extended Service Terms (EST)**
* **Cancel at Expiration**

These options are available for eligible Microsoft NCE subscriptions based on Microsoft’s EST rules.

#### EST Product Visibility Enhancements

A new **EST identifier/pill** is now displayed across multiple areas in C3 to help users easily identify EST subscriptions.

This visibility enhancement is available in areas including:

* Purchased Products
* Plans and Reseller Plans
* Product Catalogue
* Price Lists
* Invoice and Invoice PDFs
* Subscription History
* License Summary
* PSA Mapping screens
* Customer onboarding flows
* Cost Summary views

#### EST Filtering Support
New EST filters are now available in key product listing screens, including:

* Plans
* Reseller Plans
* Purchased Products
* Shop

This allows partners to quickly identify and manage EST subscriptions.

#### Improved EST Subscription Management
C3 now supports enhanced EST subscription lifecycle handling, including:

* EST subscription sync from Microsoft
* EST to primary subscription conversion handling
* Immediate EST cancellation support
* Scheduled renewal handling for eligible subscriptions
* Renewal policy updates during 

 operations

#### Reconciliation & Reporting Enhancements
Recon and Sync processes have been updated to support EST subscriptions and renewal policy handling.

This improves subscription tracking accuracy and ensures EST subscriptions are properly reflected within C3.

#### Renewal Scheduling Support
When the renewal option is set to **Renews to new term**, users can continue configuring scheduled renewal changes using the existing **Manage Renewal** functionality, including:

* Quantity updates
* Billing cycle changes
* Term duration updates
* SKU upgrades
* Custom renewal date selection

### Important Notes
* EST functionality applies only to eligible Microsoft NCE subscriptions.
* EST options are not supported for Bundle or Linked offers in this phase.
* Existing non-EST subscription behaviors remain unchanged.
* Approval and seat-limit flows are currently not applicable for EST subscriptions.
* EST subscriptions created or updated directly in Microsoft Partner Center will continue syncing into C3.

* Maintain subscription continuity without relying on legacy grace periods
* Simplify EST reconciliation and lifecycle management
